The Polytechnic University of Cartagena today received the 38 Italian students who are going to study a dozen UPCT masters awarded by the Istituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale (INPS).
The number of transalpine students who have chosen the Polytechnic of Cartagena to study some postgraduate thanks to this program has increased by 31% compared to the previous year.
The Master that most Italians have chosen has been the Administration and Business Management, followed by the Management and Direction of Business and Tourism Institutions and the Science and Technology of Building in Architecture and Water and the Field, as well as the Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Processes.
In addition, another fifteen Italian students will join after the summer the Master in Renewable Energy of the UPCT and its business accelerator, Cloud Incubator HUB, thanks to the Progetto Arquimede of the INPS, in which the only non-Italian university that participates is the Polytechnic of Cartagena .
The Italian government scholarship includes the registration of the master's and internships, an intensive Spanish course, a master's preparation course, three-month access to the university gymnasium, DELE official exam registration and financial assistance for other expenses.
The ceremony of welcome, held at the Faculty of Business Sciences, in which 16 of the Italian students will study, was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Internationalization and Development Cooperation, José Manuel Ferrández, and Miguel Martínez, President of Funcarele, an entity in the one that will take Spanish courses until this summer.
After the summer, the academic year of the UPCT will start like the rest of the graduate students.
