The Department of Culture has already launched the second edition of the Performing Arts Circuit of Cartagena, which on this occasion will bring theater and dance to 14 neighborhoods and county councils, with a total of 22 shows that adapt to all public and tastes.
Councilman David Martínez Noguera held a meeting last March with local leaders to make them come the proposals and that it was the collectives that selected a maximum of three to represent in their localities.
The Performing Arts Circuit fulfills the two priority objectives with which it was conceived and which is to promote culture among all Cartagena, while promoting the theater, dance and folklore companies that we have in Cartagena.
"We want to tear down the invisible wall that was between the center of the city and our neighborhoods and towns, and encourage all Cartagena people to enjoy the culture and talent that we have within the municipality," said the mayor.
The neighborhoods and councils that have joined this circuit are: Los Dolores, Los Popos, Tallante, Santa Lucia, Los Urrutias, Canteras, Perín, Barrio de la Concepción, Mediterranean Urbanization, Barrio Peral, Galifa, Santa Ana Pueblo, Campillo de Inside and La Aljorra.
The dates and times will be published soon.
