The Local Government Board, meeting this morning under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved an extra-budgetary treasury operation that will advance 1,820,000 euros to the municipal society Casco Antiguo to solve its peremptory lack of liquidity and be able to face their most immediate and unavoidable payments.
The file, in which is recorded the difficult situation of liquidity that crosses the society and the inclusion of a heading for this same amount in the draft municipal budgets of 2018, has the favorable reports of the controller, the treasurer and the director of the Budget Office.
The measure, as explained by the Councilor for Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar, will allow advance that amount to society and power against such peremptory payments as the payrolls of their staff and credit policies with financial institutions.
NEXT CALL FOR THE AMBULANTE SALE BOARD
In another order of things, the Governing Board has approved the new composition of the Municipal Board of Mobile Sales, in order to make a next call.
Specifically, the members of the different departments and municipal administrative services have been updated, as a result of the changes registered since their appointment in September 2017.
The Municipal Board of Mobile Sales is the highest body of participation and debate of citizens and associations in matters of street vending, in accordance with the regional law of non-sedentary street vending and the municipal ordinance, approved in June 2016.
The Board has consultative, informative and advisory functions, with the capacity to make proposals and issue reports.
Its members, appointed by the Local Government Board are the following:
The councilor with street sales competitions, who will act as president.
Two councilors appointed by the Government Team.
One councilor from each group of the Opposition.
A representative of street vendor associations.
A representative of the Federation of Small and Medium Merchants of Cartagena.
A representative of the COEC.
A representative of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Cartagena.
A representative of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Cartagena y Comarca
A representative of the neighborhood councils appointed by the Department of Decentralization.
A representative of the Local Police.
And an official for each of the following departments: Markets and Mobile Sales;
Urbanism and Infrastructure;
Public Way and Commerce Management.
DESERT NATIONAL ENCOURAGEMENT CALLS
Finally, among other matters, the Governing Board has declared void the three calls made for the final provision of the posts of general secretary of the plenary session, controller and director of the Municipal Government Office, reserved for officials of national qualification.
The announcements were published in the Official State Gazette on December 1, without which any applicant will be presented to any of the three positions in the 15 working days that were given deadline, so for now they will be occupied accidentally.
