The City Council of Cartagena will express its involvement and commitment with the Gypsy People during the celebration of its International Day, on Sunday, April 8, with the hoisting of the Gypsy flag in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
In front of the Consistorial Palace from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., various events will take place.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will attend the act of hoisting the Gypsy Flag with the Anthem 'Gelem, Gelem'.
Later, the reading of the Gypsy Manifesto and the delivery of commemorative plaques will be carried out.
In addition, you can enjoy plays, dance and musical performances, which will be carried out by various groups such as the Evangelical Cities Refuge Church and the Lo Campano Cultural and Sports Association, among others.
