Confusion, delay and delay are the words that have been used by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities to define how the attention to citizens is found by the IMAS in the municipality of Cartagena.
Before the news appeared in La Verdad about the refusal on the part of the CA to strengthen with more staff the office of the IMAS of Cartagena, CTSSP warns that the word of the Violante Counselor Tomás can not be trusted when she defined as a "confusion" the announcement of a reinforcement that now denies that it is necessary.
From Podemos, it is intolerable that from the Ministry the delays in the attention of the users in the service for the vacations granted to the civil servants to prepare oppositions are attributed, when the responsibility is solely of the regional administration and not of the workers.
For CTSSP it is a priority to have the service provided with sufficient personnel at any time of the year, regardless of oppositions, vacations or dismissals of officials, and continue to demand from the resident training that the IMAS office in Cartagena be strengthened, because unlike what they affirm from the Counseling the equipment is not complete.
That is why they are going to present questions in the Regional Assembly through the Podemos parliamentary group, about waiting lists and delays in the Cartagena office, counting how many pass the legal limit of three months for the first attention, and six months for the resolution of the file, as well as asking for how many requests have been denied due to "administrative silence", something that they consider from the CTSSP group as totally unfair when it comes, in most cases, of people in a situation of social vulnerability.
In addition, they continue to affirm from Podemos, that they will continue demanding the recovery of the information and registration point of the IMAS that was in the Alameda de San Antón, because that is where we have everything related to the users' files and where each one is known. of the derivations that have to be done in relation to the people who attend from the service itself.
That is why they will ask the Ministry to strengthen with more personnel the information and registration point of the IMAS in Cartagena, but returning it to its place of origin, from which it should never have left.
