After the meeting of spokespersons called by the Mayor on the occasion of the municipal budget, CTSSP makes the following assessments:
We value positively that on April 9 there is a meeting with the municipal technicians so that the opposition groups receive a draft budget in conditions and resolve all our doubts.
We will not allow technicians and / or high ranking officials to be our censors and decide which budget amendments are viable or not.
On the contrary, once the Government has approved its proposal of budgets, our group will take amendments to the Plenary, since this is the competent body for it, and it is there where they must be approved, as mandated by the legislation.
The socialist government behaves worse than the PP in using high-ranking municipal officials to justify the unjustifiable.
As it happened with the former Director General of Infrastructure or with the appointment of the new Comptroller, now the PSOE would have supposedly a la carte reports to justify another nonsense: that the general budget can be approved independently of the budgets of the autonomous agencies or that of companies such as Casco Antiguo SA.
The PSOE is getting very expensive breaking the pact with MC and the agreement of 40 points with CTSSP.
Although we have facilitated your Government twice, not only has you missed the opportunity to build a true progressive municipality in Cartagena, but to be in the minority depends on the more rancid right (PP and C's) and does not know or does not want to look consensus with 6 councilors.
Our group will not negotiate the budgets with the right Cartagena: we will wait for the Government to present its draft budgets and we will make our proposals in the Plenary, proposals that will be aimed at improving the lives of the residents of the municipality.
