The city council of Cartagena is studying to participate in the LIFE European Funds to improve the environment of the Battery of San Leandro, with a project that allows to recover this area.
The call for LIFE funds opens next April.

and that of the Environment, Obdulia Gómez;
Together with municipal technicians, they visited this Tuesday, March 27, the Battery of San Leandro.
This visit is part of the study of the town hall Cartagena before the possibility of attending a next call LIFE of the European Commission, with a project to recover this area.
The objective of the Government team is the environmental recovery of the surroundings, as well as the value of the battery for the use and enjoyment of all Cartagena and visitors.
The call LIFE (European Funds) will open next April and will close for the month of June.
