The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, met on Monday, March 26 with the founding president of ACOCEX, Miguel Ángel Martín, in which it was confirmed that Cartagena will be the venue for the celebration of its ninth edition of the International Business Conference and Foreign trade.
The meeting was also attended by the delegate from Murcia of the Spanish Association of Foreign Trade Professionals, José David Pérez, Javier Vázquez of event organization and Agustina Martínez by the Cartagena Congress Office.
After dealing with the question of the options of venues for the celebration of this event, it has been confirmed that Cartagena will be the city hosting the ninth edition of this Congress, which will be held on 3, 4 and 5 October.
This important annual event is organized by the Association of Foreign Trade Professionals (ACOCEX), and is dedicated to offering consulting services in internationalization, executed through the professionals that make up the association.
The congress, which will host more than 100 people, is an event designed for those responsible for the area of ​​import / export and international business of companies from various sectors, as well as for professionals specialized in advising and consulting foreign trade.
It will bring together professionals, companies and experts in international trade, who will present their experiences and discuss different strategies and lines of internationalization to be followed depending on the economic, political and legislative situation of each country, thus being able to identify new opportunities for business, promote internationalization and catch up on the latest rules on foreign trade.
This congress has had previous editions in Madrid, Tenerife, Jerez de la Frontera and Burgos.
