The Association of Neighbors of La Azohía organizes this Saturday, March 31, the 8th Popular Race of La Azohía-Isla Plana, in collaboration with the Association of Neighbors of Isla Plana, the City of Cartagena and the company of Sports Timing Line of Exit.
The test will start at 10:00 am from the Juan Paredes square (next to the church of La Azohía).
The race consists of a route of 10 kilometers for adult runners and 800 (alevín) and 1,600 meters (children) for children.
The route runs between the churches of La Azohia and Isla Plana, in a round trip circuit, practically flat and without technical difficulty, on mixed terrain (asphalt, track and sand).
There will be two refreshment posts, one coinciding with the intermediate point of the race and the other with the arrival area.
In addition, there will be a race control at kilometer 5.
The maximum duration of the test will be one and a half hours and it will have a perfectly marked route with volunteers from the organization located at different points throughout the race.
The councilor of the Area of ​​Public Services, Citizen Participation and Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, plans to attend the event.
