The councilman of Municipal Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, achieved last Friday the commitment of the General Directorate of Roads to build a roundabout on the RM 332 road of San José Obrero, at the intersection with Viña del Mar street.
As stated in the agreement reached, the Autonomous Community will be responsible for the processing of the expropriation process and the execution of the work, while the City Council will bear the cost of expropriations.
"This roundabout is a work highly demanded by the residents of the San José Obrero area, as it will allow access to the La Vaguada urbanization and will solve the serious traffic, noise and insecurity problems that exist at this point," he said. Torralba.
Thus, the City of Cartagena has managed to unlock this work that had been paralyzed since 2010, the term of execution of this infrastructure is five months and has a budget of 640,000 euros.
