Cartagena residents in Tarragona and its province, partners and supporters of the association "Circulo Cultural Cartagenero in Tarragona (ICUE)" gathered on Saturday March 17 to celebrate its traditional "Saturday of Dolores" as a prelude to the "Friday of Dolores" "And with the aim of honoring the Patroness.
The acts were preceded by the celebration of Holy Mass, in the Church of Santa Joan, in Tarragona and gathered a hundred faithful who followed with attention the words addressed by the president of the association at the beginning of it, in which He highlighted the importance that the festival has for Cartagena and more for those who are absent from Cartagena, on such a marked date.
At the end of the Holy Mass, we proceeded to the floral offering before an image of the Pieta and an emotional song of the Salve from Cartagena was intoned.
To end the day there was a fellowship meal, which did not miss the identity of Cartagena and its four Easter brotherhoods.
With this celebration the 18 consecutive years have been reached that the association Circulo Cultural Cartagenero in Tarragona "ICUE" honors its Patroness.
