On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which is celebrated on March 21, the IES of San Isidoro, Jimenez de la Espada, the Mediterranean and the Bohio have carried out an act against discrimination with the Reading of a Manifesto Against Racial Discrimination.
The event is part of the actions pertaining to the strategy 'Cartagena Free of Rumors' led and promoted by the City through the Unit of Immigration and Development Cooperation of the Department of Social Services.
In the manifesto, the children highlighted that "Racism is a learned prejudice, it is not born racist.
Similarly, no one has the right to discriminate against any person because of the color of their skin, their language or their accent, their place of birth, their lifestyle, their origins and traditions or their poverty. "
