Cartagena Port of Cultures will join the celebration of Friday of Dolores, in a day of open doors.
During this festive Friday you can visit the Roman Theater, the Punic Wall, the Forum of the Roman Forum, the Castle of the Conception, the Refugio-Museo de la Guerra Civil, Casa de la Fortuna, Augusteum and Fuerte de Navidad.
Tourist transport, such as the boat, bus and panoramic lift will not be free.
On the other hand, opening and closing schedules are extended, opening the museums every day of the week, from Monday to Sunday, on the occasion of the celebration of Holy Week.
Likewise, special guided tours have been organized to learn about the history, corners and gastronomy of Cartagena.
As a novelty, a new guided route called "Temples and Theater: between the pagan and the divine" is set in motion, which will tour Roman and Christian temples.
For the first time, picturesque corners will be visited, such as the Rincon de la Soledad, until reaching the Church of Santa María de Gracia, the emblematic church of the Holy Week in Cartagena.
The route will end in Barrio del Foro knowing the magnificent building where sacred banquets related to the Sanctuary of Isis were held.

CONTINUED ROUTES WITH TASTE
The routes with flavor realize a historical route where the history is savored finalizing the routes with a plate typical of the medieval and Roman culture.
-'Cartagena Tres Culturas'.
This route will reveal medieval history and the confluence of the three cultures, Christian, Jewish and Muslim.
It will start at the Panoramic Elevator, arriving at the Castillo de la Concepción, from where the whole city can be seen.
The visit will continue along the Church of Santa María la Mayor until you reach the Museum of the Roman Theater.
The route ends with the tasting of a typical tapa of Jewish or Muslim cuisine.

A route where life in a city of the Roman Empire will be known, starting with a visit to the Roman Theater Museum.
We will discover how the citizens of the Thermal Baths enjoyed and the luxurious banquets dedicated to the goddess Isis in the Barrio del Foro Romano.
At the end of the route, you can taste a dish inspired by the Roman cuisine of Apicius' book.

On Holy Thursday and Good Friday, an actor of the Empire will announce the adventures of a Roman citizen, invoking the gods to achieve his dream: perform in the splendid Theater of Carthago Nova.
He will begin his journey in the Barrio del Foro, where the Temple of Isis is located, to seek the protection of the goddess.
Continue through the temple of Augustus and finally reach the abode of art and entertainment, the great Roman Theater to enjoy a final performance.
Route: Roman Forum Quarter, Augusteum and Roman Theater.
Days: March 29 and 30.
