Cartagena hosted on Tuesday, March 20, the 1st Edition of the LídeR.ES Awards of the International Chair of CSR of the Catholic University of San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM).
The 60 awards recognized politicians, businessmen, social leaders and young entrepreneurs from the Region of Murcia, who incorporate Corporate Social Responsibility in their professional and personal careers.
The act was developed in the Port Authority of Cartagena with the assistance of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón;
the counselor of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo;
representatives of the Municipal Corporation, the director of Institutional Relations UCAM, José Luis Mendoza;
director of Hidrogea, Javier Ybarra;
and director of the RSC-APC Chair, Víctor Meseguer;
as well as other political and business personalities.
The mayor welcomed all those present to the city, and expressed his satisfaction that the LideR.es awards had chosen Cartagena to celebrate its first edition.
In addition, during the course of the act, a book was presented in which the articles of the winners published in the portal Murcia Economía are collected, and in which they highlight their work on CSR.
