The Local Police of the City of Cartagena has started today a special campaign to prevent the commission of traffic infractions at the entrance and exit of schools.
The first of these, with the collaboration of the educational center itself, took place at the San Vicente de Paul school on the Rambla de Benipila, where double-and triple-row car parks are regularly produced, blocking the roundabout , occupy the median, the pedestrian crossings and the bike lane, causing situations of risk for the children, carried out in most cases by the parents themselves.
During the entry and exit a total of 19 complaints were recorded for bad parking, which have been recorded in a staggered manner: four at eight o'clock in the morning;
eight, at nine;
and seven at two in the afternoon.
The campaign in which the offenders are denounced through the so-called Multacar, will be progressively extended to other educational centers, in which similar situations occur
