Last Wednesday, March 14, the Center of Day Estancias del Algar Cartagena City Council celebrated its ninth anniversary, which was attended by users of the center, as well as their families, some users of the day center of Los Dolores and technicians of the Department of Social Services.
In the course of the celebration acted the comparsa of majors of the Carnival of Molinos Marfagones;
moment that the adults took the opportunity to enjoy with their dances and chirigotas.

The Algar Day Center is a family health and support center that offers during the day attention to the basic personal, therapeutic and sociocultural needs of elderly people affected by different degrees of dependency, promoting their autonomy and staying in their usual environment .
To achieve its objectives, the Day Care Center has a specialized multidisciplinary team composed of nursing assistants, occupational therapist, social worker, ATS / DUE, psychologist, monitor and other professionals according to the profile of the user attended.
It also has a transport service adapted to cover the movement of users from their home to the Center and vice versa.
