The Local Government Board, assembled this morning, under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved a credit generation of 227 thousand euros in the extended municipal budget, corresponding to the grants obtained by the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) on behalf of the Employment and Regional Training Service (SEF) for the realization during this year 2018 of seven courses.

Of these, two are youth guarantee, four for unemployed and one for training projects for people over 45 years.

The youth guarantee, of 15 students each, are the Basic Operations of Restaurant-Bar (290 hours) and the Promotion of Activities of Free Educational Time for Children and Youth (310 hours).

The four unemployed are those of Administrative Management Activities (880 hours), Kitchen (810 hours), Auxiliary Operations of Electrical Networks Assembly (220 hours) and Operations of Plumbing and Domestic Heating-Air Conditioning (480 hours).

The training project course for over 45 years of the Teaching of the FP for Employment (390 hours).

The seven courses are part of the ADLE program for this year 2018.

CHAIRS OF THE HOLY WEEK

The Local Government Board has also accepted, among other matters, the resignation made by the only company that had submitted to the operation of the Holy Week chairs.

As will be remembered, the award process began on February 7, registering a single offer of the company Multiservicios Festeros SLU, which after verifying that it met the requirements, the contracting table proposed on March 13 to be awarded exploitation for a fee of 75 thousand euros.

The unexpected resignation, last Friday, a few days after the start of the processions has forced the City to seek other companies that could take over.

Of the consultations made only the company Gil and Morales, who has already exploited on other occasions the Holy Week chairs, has been willing to do so, but with a reduction in the fee to be paid to the City Council, which will eventually be 45 thousand euros .

Given the urgency of time and the exceptionality of the situation, the Board has approved this morning the conditions of this exploitation, which will only be provisionally for this Holy Week.
