The term of the contest of the III literary jousts has been closed with 75 works presented.
On the other hand, the 1st Photography Contest of San Ginés de la Jara has done it with 18 photographs.
In total 93 works have been submitted, from different nationalities.
The winners will be announced from April 7.
The literary contest is organized by the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara, the Cultural Association San Ginés de la Jara and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena and other institutions.
The Literary Fair consists of two modalities, one of poetry and the other of narrative, while in the contest of photographs there is only one modality.
The theme of the works is free, although the organizers will value positively those that, in the case of the poetry modality, are about 'The Flight', 'The Union and its mines', 'Cartagena' and 'San Ginés de la Jara' ;
in the case of the story with 'The Art of Flying', 'The Mine and the Miners' and 'San Ginés de la Jara';
and in the case of the photograph on 'San Ginés de la Jara', 'The flight' or 'The airplanes'.
The decision that one of the themes of the contests be seen on the flight, the art of flying or airplanes has been taken because this year is the 75th Anniversary of the General Air Academy.
In the case of the modalities of poetry and story there will be three awards, while in the mode of photography there will be two.
The winners of the Literary Fair and the Photography Contest will receive prizes in cash, in addition to stays in an apartment in the Manga del Mar Menor, lots of products from the nearest gastronomy, a dental check-up or a physiotherapy session.
