THE FESTIVAL
Much More May is a program of artistic interventions in the urban environment developed by creators of all creative records, using public spaces and unconventional places in the city and municipality of Cartagena (Murcia, Spain).
The festival is organized by the City of Cartagena through the Department of Culture and Youth, and has an Organizing Committee.
In addition, the festival is developed under a set of experimental processes that interrelate emerging artistic practice, work with citizenship, participation, artistic education and cultural production.
The festival shapes its program through sections and projects of its own production that are completed with a public call for projects whose bases have just been approved by the Municipal Government Board.
The festival takes place in two territorial areas that are the Historic Quarter of Cartagena and a guest district that this year is the aforementioned Barrio de Los Dolores-Bda.

The festival has a specific section that links it with the educational centers, "Art at the Center, Student Festival".
It also has other fixed sections such as the short film show "Semana Corta", the musical festival "Mucho Más Música", a training program for workshops and seminars, a series of lectures and debates, and a section on urban culture (One Urban World ).
The M + M festival has assumed a commitment to gender equality so that in its program no gender will be represented above 60% or below 40%.
And this year the festival will also incorporate a commitment to sustainability.
The bases and all the information can be consulted on the festival website.
