The Municipal Group of Citizens has celebrated that the execution of its amendment of 2017 for the consolidation of the double outer ring of the Bullring continues taking steps forward with the objective of restoring the Roman Amphitheater.
The Councilor for Culture and Heritage, David Martinez and the municipal coordinator of Archaeological Heritage, Mari Carmen Berrocal, today made a visit to inform the media about the recovery work of this Cartagena treasure.
The orange training spokesman explained that the amendment of Citizens to the budgets of 2017 supposed to reserve 200,000 euros and that they have been used entirely for works that will last approximately three months.
"Once the budget for these works has been guaranteed and the execution of the consolidation project has been verified, what we now have to do, for our part, is to ensure the necessary synchrony between the City of Cartagena and the Autonomous Community to develop the Master Plan for the Amphitheater that so much delay, in which all the intervention phases will be defined ", assured Manuel Padín who has clarified that" the consolidation works should not affect the Master Plan, since it does not interfere with the archaeological remains ".
The orange spokesman has indicated that all these works will be the backbone of the integral project for the recovery of these buildings and the environment that surrounds them, "we are proud to be a political force that contributes to an achievement and an objective so longed for by the Cartagena that will revalue our city even more ".
On the other hand, Citizens has taken good note of the announcement made today by the Councilor for Heritage, David Martinez, that by the end of May the poster 'open for works' will be placed and will be allowed to visit the site, "we hope that they comply with these dates and that you can actually enable a circuit that will be accessed by the natural entrances of the amphitheater, from our group we will support these measures, and we are studying the possibility of including others to bring the future to the present, and that the neighbors of Cartagena, this Community and all of Spain know the historical diamond that is recovering in this municipality.
