Pupils of 5th and 6th grade of the CEIP San Ginés de la Jara del Llano del Beal have shared today, March 14, a sports-school day with components of the female and male teams of the Cartagena Rugby University Club in activity organized by the ADE Program of the Department of Sports.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
The players Cristina, Risi, Pele, Richard, Keneth and Dani were the coaches for one morning of the students, approaching and making known in a direct and personal way the sport of rugby.
The first part of the day was developed in the classroom where a video about rugby and its history was projected, as well as the most basic concepts.
The second part was held on the sports center track of the educational center, through exercises adapted for beginners to rugby, including races, tackles and rehearsals, in a circuit prepared by university athletes and that has made the delights of the little ones.
In the final part of the session, the players and the participating students have been photographed, also receiving the educational center of the Council of Sports a methacrylate recall of the activity carried out.
