The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, on Wednesday, March 14, bid farewell to the players of the Plage Romero soccer team, who left for Madrid to play the Spanish Cup that will be played between March 15 and 19.
The players have posed next to the mayor and the new equipment of the team wearing the logo of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas on the back of the shirt and the Roman Theater in the front.
Ana Belén Castejón took advantage of her meeting with the players to wish them luck in the next matches and show their support and confidence in the team.
In addition, the mayor has said he plans to be present on Sunday in Madrid to witness the final in which, confident, the Plastics Romero Cartagena is made with the victory.
For his part, the president of Plastics Romero Cartagena, Roberto Sánchez, thanked on behalf of the entire team for the passion and confidence placed by the mayor and throughout the city.
