The film director Esther Pérez de Eulate will be in Cartagena Think this week through the screening of the documentary Excluídas del paraíso on March 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center and her admission will be free until complete capacity.
Subsequently, a debate will be held by the author.
"Excluídas del paraíso" is a feature-length documentary created with the purpose of giving critical discourse to everyday images in our day-to-day life, thus uncovering some of the forms of oppression of the patriarchal system that exist in Spanish society and that, increasingly, , promote inequality.
With a lot of creativity, a pleasant treatment and the participation of feminist thinkers Ana de Miguel, Ochy Curiel, Pablo Llamas, Pilar Aguilar, Remedios Zafra, Rosa Cobo, Soledad Murillo and Yayo Herrero, the documentary was born as a tool to give visibility to the way in which machismo tarnishes all the areas of our life.
WORKSHOP "THE PATRIARCHY IN IMAGES"
The following day, Thursday, March 15, the film director will give a workshop in which she will present the contents and images that explain the hegemony of the patriarchal society, entitled "Patriarchy in images".
