On the verge of playing a Spanish Cup, the most important football event, the Plastics Romero Cartagena and the City Council have marked a road map to work together to strengthen the futsal project in the city, taking advantage of the good progress of the Cartagena team.

In this line has developed the meeting held today Monday by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, with the president of the club, Roberto Sánchez, and also attended by the vice president of futsal, Carlos Cabezos, and Juan Fernando Romero representing of the main sponsor of the team, Plásticos Romero.

For the mayor, today was a "pending and necessary appointment, to comment on the current status of futsal in Cartagena, showing that it is in good health, but I am aware that the team needs a push, that we involve ourselves with greater intensity "

Thus, Castejón is committed to helping them in two points, first to keep the club informed about the progress in the Sports Palace and "share and make available the central track in conditions of permanence";

and secondly, "we are going to articulate forms of tourism promotion that serve the football help room encouraging the increase in the number of sponsors".

We must remember that also Monday, during the meeting of the Teatro Romano Foundation, sponsorship of futsal in the Spanish Cup has been approved, through a grant, so that the players will wear the logo of the Roman theater on t-shirts.

"It is a small help, pointed out the mayor, and we encourage the Autonomous Community to, in this sense, bet on Cartagena with the same force as in other municipalities."
