On Friday of Dolores, the City of Cartagena will carry out, as every year, its traditional offering to the Virgin of Charity, depositing a basket with flowers at the feet of the patron saint.
In fact, it will be the mayor herself, Ana Belén Castejón, who will make the offering, accompanied by her government team, because they had planned.
The consistory wants to leave like that the rumors that have circulated in the last days in social networks in which it was assured, that after more than 30 years, this offering was not going to take place.
The floral offering of that day will be organized as always by the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena and have already convened publicly to all groups and entities that want to join to register before next Friday March 16, to parade through groups
The order of the delegation will close it as always the group of the City of Cartagena, which may be incorporated citizens dressed in the typical costume Cartagena that have not previously registered.
Within this group the municipal basket will be carried with the floral offering, which will be deposited by the mayor on behalf of the City Council.
