This morning has been constituted, in the administrative building of San Miguel, the Commission of Investigation on the contract of concession of the services of supply of potable water and sanitation.

In an arbitrary way, missing the criterion maintained during the current legislature by the municipal government, Ana Belén Castejón has prevented a member of the driving formations of this commission, MC and CTSSP, presiding over it, handing over this responsibility to the spokesman of C's, Manuel Padín.

MC Cartagena, who will be represented in the Commission by the spokesperson, José López, - Isabel García will be the substitute -, has requested that the meetings have, at least, a fortnightly periodicity.

At the end of the meeting, José López stressed that "except in the Batel Commission where it was decided that Mr. Padín was the president, due to the possible political competition between MC and the PP-like people who have Batel management, the rest of committees have been chaired by the proponents ".

"What fear is there if I have everything clear?", He asked rhetorically, "as the waters are murky and are underground, prefer that another is presiding", said the spokesman of the Cartagena training.

The Plenary of the City Council approved, on January 18, the constitution of this commission of research on the municipal water service at the request of MC and CTSSP.

Among the issues that the proposal of MC and CTSSP aims to clarify with this Commission are the studies of costs and tariffs;

the procedure employed from 1992 onwards;

possible subcontracting to other companies, which would mean a new essential breach of the concession contract;

the contracting of investment works by the company;

the management and destination of the so-called surplus of 2012;

the execution of works of 2003, as well as the purification of responsibilities.

After the end of the constitution session, Ana Belén Castejón has explicitly acknowledged that she will accept the down payment of the Hidrogea concessionaire.
