The Local Government Board, meeting this afternoon, under the chairmanship of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved multi-year expenses for an amount of 713,900 euros in order to extend until August 2019 the current maintenance contracts for public roads and the one of patching in all the municipal term.
Specifically, for the maintenance contract for the public road of district 4, a multi-year expenditure of 165,300 euros has been approved;

Finally, for the extension of the patching in the municipal area, an expenditure of 148,500 euros has been approved.
The current maintenance and patching contracts end in August of this year, allowing the specifications of this annual extension that will avoid the usual stoppages that are recorded as a result of a new contract.
THE CONTRACTING TABLE FITS THE LAW
The Local Government Board has also approved the new composition of the Permanent Contracting Committee of the City Council, adapted to the new Public Sector Contracts Law, which has come into force today, and which determines an eminently technical nature of this municipal body.
In this way, the Contracting Committee, after the entry into force of the law, will be chaired by the councilor responsible for this area, acting as members of the responsible technicians of the Economic and Budgetary Office;
of the Municipal Intervention;
of the Legal Advice;
and of Heritage.
The Head of Contracting will act as secretary.
Also as a result of this law has been reduced from 18,000 to 15,000 the limit of authorization of expenses by the councilors of the municipal government in minor contracts.
Likewise, the competition to authorize the debt subdivisions requested by individuals has been modified.
From now on the municipal treasurer may authorize subdivisions under 18,000 euros (until now it was 10,000 euros);
while those over 18,000 euros, which require the provision of endorsement, must be authorized by the Governing Board.
