The counselor of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo (2D), today presented the documentary 'Women in Carthago Nova', at an event held at the Museum of the Roman Theater.
It is a new production of the Integra Foundation, which lasts 50 minutes and will be screened for the first time next Thursday, March 15, at the Cultural Center of Cajamurcia in Cartagena.
"The documentary is a deserved tribute to all those fighters who marked the history of Cartagena from the background, since this production not only reflects the role of the queens of the Roman era, it also reflects the reality of ordinary women, that we owe them so much, "said the minister, who revealed that" we have recovered the monuments of Cartagena and now we want to recover the memory of the people who inhabited them, especially women. "
This documentary is part of the actions that take place on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
The Minister of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson said that "from the regional government we have supported this project because to understand the present and move towards the future we can not forget about the past".
