International Women's Day is commemorated on the 8th of March.

With this motive at 11:00 a march will be held in support of the global strike of women that will leave from Plaza de España to the Consistorial Palace.

At 12:00 noon the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will read a manifesto at the Town Hall door.

There will also be activities like 'Dare to act', Fotoflash.

Already at 7:00 pm there will be a demonstration 'If we stop, stop for the world', organized by: Platform 8 March, PIM Cartagena and FAE.

It will leave from Plaza España to Plaza Ayuntamiento.

And at 20:00 hours there will be a 'Concentration and Reading Manifesto', with theatrical representation by the jaloque group, organized by the Feminist Platform March 8 in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
