The 'Beef Stew' of the Pablo Guardiola Restaurant, prepared by Juani Villarino, and the Asian work of Juan Carlos Vázquez, of the Bakery Cafeteria More Than Bread, were the winners of the Fourth Stew Route of the Grandmother and Asian The Belones, which was held from February 16 to 25 in Cartagena, organized by the City of Cartagena and the Merchants Association of Los Belones.
The Councilor for the area of ​​Economic Strategy and Finance, Carmen Martín del Amor, accompanied by the president of ACOBE, Victoria López, and Pedro Egea on behalf of the company José Díaz, which sponsors the event, were in charge of delivering their awards to the winners of this edition, in which, as pointed out by the mayor, "we must highlight the increase of more than 60 percent in the number of visitors who have participated in the route, many of them foreigners."
In this way, the event is consolidated, partly also "due to the change of date of the event (from December / January that was before, to February this year) and the good weather that has been done, which has positively influenced", according to Victoria López.
Thus, 10,000 stews and 8,500 Asians have been served, a very significant figure.
And to celebrate its award, the owner of the Pablo Guardiola Restaurant has announced that during this weekend, Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March, the winning stew will be served again, the beef stew, to give an opportunity to all those who have not had the opportunity to try it, so that they can taste it, respecting the price of the Route (2.50 euros the ration).
