The XXXVIII School Rhythmic Sports Gymnastics Competition will kick off this Thursday, March 8, an event that is part of the School Sports Program organized by the City of Cartagena, together with the General Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community.
From 16.00 hours, start this competition organized by the Department of Sports in the Municipal Pavilion of Wssell Guimbarda, appointment to which the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón.
There will also be a second day, at the same time, on Thursday, March 15.
Participate 25 schools, about 100 teams each day, with more than a thousand gymnasts aged between 4 and 17 years of the entire municipality, led by 27 coaches.
And all with a goal, motivate daily learning and take advantage of the educational values ​​that emerge from the spirit of competition, considering that sports practice is an essential component in the comprehensive education of children.
The participating categories are: pacifiers, prebenjamín and benjamín with hands-free, alevín-aro and hands-free, infantile-rope and ball, junior-maces and juvenile with rim, belonging to the following centers:
