The Neighborhood Association of Loma de Canteras and the City Council finalize the preparations for the 1st Solidarity March against Childhood Leukemia, which takes place this Sunday, March 11, starting at 10.30.
Registration for the march, which costs 3 euros, can be done at the Wsell de Guimbarda Sports Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 13 p.m. or from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., or on the website www.lineadesalida.net.
Also, the collection of the numbers may be made from 8 to 10 March in the pavilion, from 11 to 13 and from 17 to 21 hours.
The councilman of Municipal Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, has met with the organizers of this march to finalize the details of it and wanted to encourage all Cartagena to join this activity, "whose end is solidarity and we can all contribute for only three euros, while we enjoy a sporty and playful day ".
The Foundation of FC Cartagena has also joined this march, since all participants will be able to attend for free the match that FC Cartagena will play on Saturday, March 10, against Granada CF B, at 18.30, at the Municipal Stadium Cartagonova.
Those who wish may withdraw their ticket located on the high side, in the offices of the Stadium, delivering proof of registration to the solidarity march.
The office hours to withdraw tickets will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm;
Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
and Saturday, match day, from 5 to 6:15 p.m.
The benefits of this solidary march will go entirely to project RECAIDA 0: Mathematics against Childhood Leukemia.
Specifically, they will go to the Precipita Platform of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, which is leading a project to improve the risk classification of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemias by means of mathematical algorithms.
