Blanca, its Museum of Light and Water, or the Esparto de Cieza Museum were some of the visits that the 130 senior citizens of the Socio-Cultural Hiking Program group of the Senior Citizens Unit of the Department of Social services.
The route was made last Wednesday, February 28.
After visiting Blanca, they set off up the river to Cieza.
During the 14 km of the route, they visited the Abarán waterwheels, the El Jarral and Menjuí dams, and were able to observe the 'Peach flowering'.
Already in Cieza, and after a shared meal in a city park, enabled by the City Council of that town, the Atalaya association, opened the doors of the Esparto Museum.
The 130 seniors going through their exhibition with detailed explanations and ending the visit with demonstrations made by members of that association.
