This Thursday, March 1, has taken place the Second Conference on Social Networks and Local Police promoted by the City of Cartagena, to train local police officers in the use of this communication tool increasingly implemented in our society and as a mechanism for interaction with citizens in a massive and immediate manner.
The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar, has been in charge of inaugurating this day in which local police from all over Spain as well as university students have participated, it started at 9:00 am and lasted until 7:00 pm.
It has been developed in the Roman Theater Museum.
The agents have received with these presentations a very important training in social networks such as Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, which use a lot both young and adult, and allow information and receive information almost instantaneously, so it is convenient that the agents know use in a correct way.
The different talks have been oriented to issues such as the implementation of a social network (specifically in the police), operation and maintenance of social networks and network crimes (computer security and social networks).
Speakers specialists in many areas of social networks have participated, such as Aureliano Gómez-Vizcaíno Castelló, Head of Communication and Protocol of the City of Cartagena;
Francisco García Díaz, communicator and journalist of events 'Murcia Conecta' 7TV;
and Victor Navarro and Manuel Cano Muñoz, Local Police Manger of Cartagena.
In the afternoon, several speakers specializing in cybercrime from security forces, such as the Guardia Civil, such as Felix López Cánovas and Javier Diez Sánchez, also intervened.
Finally, a round table was held on "Social Networks 'Present and Future'".
