The firefighters of the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service of the City of Cartagena rescued last Wednesday, February 28, a person trapped in his vehicle after suffering a traffic accident on the road to La Palma (Los Barreros).

The event took place around 11:38 pm and several firefighters and the Local Police of Cartagena were mobilized.

Once the rescue bodies arrived at the accident site, the firefighters proceeded to immobilize the trapped driver and subsequently remove the vehicle.

In addition, during the day on Wednesday, the firefighters of Cartagena carried out several other actions, such as cleaning the roof of a ship in the Los Camachos Polygon or the suffocation of a hedge fire inside the polytechnic institute of Cartagena.
