The councilor of the area of ​​Culture, Education and Youth, David Martinez, who has also attended the rehearsal, has highlighted the great opportunity it represents for students "come to see an orchestra rehearsal and enjoy how you work, see the instruments, as well as the great musicians that we have in Cartagena and who are preparing this concert ".
The conductor of the orchestra, Leonardo Martínez Cayuelas, has indicated that opening "a series of concerts of music such as Entre Cuerdas y Metales is like a prestigious orchestra," while emphasizing that "we must continue to take care of and nurture the event to that becomes a claim at the international level. The concert will feature two double bassists, specifically the brothers Emilio and Álvaro Yepes, who will perform the Concert for two double bass "La Pasión Amorosa", by Giovanni Botessini.
