The rector of UPCT, Alejandro Díaz, presented Monday, together with the Director General of Universities, Juan Monzó, the Solvers Community of the UPCT, to promote the identification and resolution of technological and management challenges.
The Vice-Chancellorship of Innovation and Enterprise of the UPCT, through the Office of Entrepreneurs and Technology-Based Enterprises (OEEBT) and with the support of the Seneca Foundation, has called the contest 'Call to solve challenges UPCT', with which it is born the Solvers Community of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The contest presents students, recent graduates and teaching and administrative staff with challenges in which to demonstrate creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by providing solutions to problems or needs detected in the environment of new emerging technologies, design, industry 4.0 and new management processes.
Participants can get cash prizes, mentoring, training, coworking space in the ELDI Building and be part of the Solvers Community of the UPCT.
The registration period ends on March 9.
The members of the university community of the UPCT can be part of the Solvers Community outside the call for this contest, although they will not have access to the prizes.

On the other hand, the Polytechnic has also launched the UPCT-Innova e-mail newsletter, which informs 3,000 companies of the transfer of research results carried out by the University.
