The Local Government Board of Cartagena, meeting this afternoon, under the chairmanship of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved the necessary modifications of the 2017 extended budget to continue or initiate several works of the participatory budgeting program that remained pending at 31 December 2017, for which some 396,800 euros will be allocated.
Specifically, an amendment of about 44,500 euros has been approved for the renewal of public lighting in La Palma;
264,000 euros for reordering road traffic and pedestrian access in El Albujón;
34,700 euros for the construction of the artificial turf soccer field in La Aljorra and 53,000 euros for the first phase of adaptation of the dressing rooms of the Mediterranean Urbanization football stadium.
The Governing Board has also approved the bases that will regulate the selective tests of places included in the offer of public employment of the year 2014. In particular it is a square of architect, two of technical architect and one of technical engineer, belonging to the municipal staff
All of them will be covered by free opposition contest.
The bases will be published soon in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
The Governing Board has also initially approved two special urban plans for a building on Calle Honda, 21;
and another building of houses and under commercial in the street Comedy 8 and the square of the King;
as well as a detailed study in a plot of Peroniño street in the neighborhood of La Concepción.
The Board has also given its approval to the regulatory bases of the call for the admission of children in the Municipal Infantile Schools for the next course, as well as the corresponding ones for the Centers and Points of Attention to the Childhood (CAI and PAI).
The Councilor for Education, Culture and Youth, David Martinez, will present to the media next week the details of these bases, although he has advanced the effort that has been made to reduce prices in municipal nursery schools and expand the number of centers of this type, with the incorporation in the last two years of the infant schools of La Palma and Pozo Estrecho.
The Governing Board has also given the green light, at the request of the mayor, a collaboration agreement with the Autonomous Community for the dissemination and implementation of a system of user information Social Services (SIUSS) and its computer application in the City of Cartagena, as well as its regulation of the treatment of the data contained in said system.
The Local Government Board has also agreed the award of the cleaning contract of public schools in the municipality for an amount of 16,364,000 euros to Building and Contracting for a period of four years.
It was the most beneficial offer for the City Council, according to the proposal made by the hiring table, which assessed technical and economic offers from eight companies.
Among other matters, the Local Government Board has approved the modification of remuneration of the temporary staff of the Mayor's Office with a reduction of 13,712 euros.
In particular, the position of Coordinator of Institutional Relations and Press will have the gross annual remuneration of the Communication and Transparency coordinator, 50. 610 euros;
while the Coordinator of Communication and Transparency, will be reduced their salaries equating them to those of a secretary of municipal groups, 33,403 euros.
Likewise, the creation of two new management positions in the municipal organization chart has been approved, whose remuneration must be approved by the municipal plenary session.
These are the general coordinators of Education and Culture and Social Services, Employment and Equality.
Finally, subsidies of 130 thousand euros have been approved to the Uned Center in Cartagerna and 60 thousand euros to APANDA.
