SYMPHONY
Dismissing innocence can be hard;
It is not easy to face the ghosts of childhood and fears of the future.
This is precisely the moment that is going through 'Greta', the protagonist of the film 'The Sleeping Girl' (Australia, 2015), which will be screened this Friday within the program Read, Think, Imagine.
In full 70s, Greta, played by Bethany Whitmore, must say goodbye to her 15 years immersed in a circle of harassment, until one day, a magical music box will appear at her birthday party, to guide the protagonist to the forest of your unconscious.
The Australian director, Rosemary Myers, creates an hour and a quarter of fun and fantasy, but also of social criticism.
The film will be screened in its original version, subtitled in Spanish, this Friday, February 23, at the FICCMOTECA del Luzzy, in the auditorium of the Cultural Center at 8:00 p.m., and admission is, as always, free until complete capacity.
