The Catholic University will inform the Cartagena tomorrow at the Itinere event, organized by the Youth Council, of the possibilities it offers to complete studies at the Los Dolores Campus with international stays, in addition to online training and projects that help to search work and promote self-employment.

San Antonio Catholic University wants to help improve the employability options of its students but also of the more than 5,000 young people from Cartagena who neither study nor work.

For this, the UCAM will bring tomorrow, Thursday, February 22, to the El Batel Auditorium all the training offer (face-to-face and online, free and paid) that it imparts, but will also show -through an information point- the different actions that this university develops to increase the possibilities of integration in the world of work.

In this sense, the UCAM will give details about the cycles of Higher Vocational Training of Infant and Technical Education in Physical Activity and Sports Activity taught at the Campus of Los Dolores, where you can also take the Degrees in Law, Criminology, Nursing, Physiotherapy , Physical Activity and Sports Science, Early Childhood and Primary Education, as well as the Master's Degree in Access to Law, which is carried out by the Cartagena Bar Association.

In the same way, the Catholic University will inform about the courses of its Higher School of languages ​​open to the whole population- that it teaches in its Campus of Cartagena, which is the preparatory and examining center of Cambridge, as well as of the own degrees of University Graduate and of the rest of the educational offer that the UCAM has to study online or in the Campus of Los Jerónimos, together with the discounts and scholarships to which you can choose, the programs of stays in other countries that can be accommodated the students, …

Free courses and breakfasts with businessmen

This information point will be installed within the 'Itinere' day to boost young employment in Cartagena, which is free access prior registration and is organized by the Youth Council, and also provide information on free courses that UCAM offers to through the MOOC project (Massive Online Open Courses).

In parallel, the Technological Institute of Murcia (dependent of the UCAM) will explain in the morning and afternoon the service of Orientation and Labor Information and the programs of labor insertion and support for entrepreneurs that it develops, as well as the work breakfasts organized by among the students of the Campus of Los Dolores and directors of entities and companies so that they know their experience in a close and pleasant way.
