The councilman of MC Cartagena, Ricardo Segado, will present at the next plenary session a request in which the socialist government is asked to advance in the preparation of a census of local artists and cultural entities for the municipality.
In this way, the mayor will request the municipal responsible for Culture to process the motion submitted by MC on March 30, 2017, and unanimously approved by all groups, which called for the creation, by of the City Council, of said registry.
In this sense, Segado explained that the intention is "to act for the benefit of the cultural heritage of Cartagena and serve to provide greater facilities for access to municipal facilities for artists, thus having a consideration with all of them."
Also, the councilor recalled that "it has been almost a year since the approval of the motion, so we believe it is enough time to meet this just demand."
Finally, Ricardo Segado said that "Cartagena has a wide range of artists of all types, so the creation of this census is necessary to avoid cultural dispersion and the professional and work difficulties with which they are."
On the other hand, the person in charge of Quality of Life of MC, Francisco Calderón, will ask about the number of effective adoptions that have been carried out throughout 2018, as well as how many of them have taken place from outside of Spain.
