The Sea of ​​Music has passed the first phase of the nominations of the Iberian Festival Awards and goes to the final in three categories at the Iberian Festival Awards, prizes awarded to the best festivals, artists, sponsors and media of all the Iberian Peninsula, thanks to the votes of the public and an official jury.
It is the first time that the Cartagena festival has been selected for these awards, which celebrates its third edition, and which will announce its winners on March 16 in Lisbon.
The festival is a candidate for 'best small format festival', 'best programming' and 'best festival with closed stages'.
The Councilor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, David Martinez said when they met the nominations for these awards: "we are very happy to have passed the final of these awards that are awarded to the best festivals held in the Iberian Peninsula, and that can close a good run of recognitions for La Mar de Músicas, since a few months ago we collected the Fest Award for the Best Small Format Festival in Spain, and the Best Festival Award in the Region of Murcia, in I Music Awards of the Region of Murcia, organized by the Cultural Association There is a tiger behind you ".
The Iberian Festival Awards are included within the framework of the Talkfest, a conference that aims to be a meeting point for professionals in the sector to reflect, through a series of conferences and round tables, on the state of the music industry, both at the national and international that will be held during the month of March in Lisbon.
