The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the councilor of the Department of Culture, Education and Youth, David Martínez, received Monday, February 19, the new rector of the Menéndez Pelayo International University, Emilio Lora-Tamayo.
Along with him, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, Miguel Martínez, as well as members of the Permanent Consortium of the Menéndez Pelayo University of Cartagena (UIMP) were also present at the meeting held in the Consistorial Palace.
In this meeting, the rector of the University has informed the mayor and the councilman of Culture about the celebration of the next cloister, which will take place in Cartagena.
