The Local Government Board, meeting today with extraordinary character, under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has unanimously approved the correction and consequent validation of the agreement adopted on December 29, 2017, for the lowering of water rates potable water, rates for the authorization of connections and sewage services and purification of residual waters and tariffs for the conservation of connections and meters for the financial year 2018.
Through this new agreement, the defect is rectified in the manner in which the meeting was convened, while the file has been expanded with up to five new technical reports from as many municipal departments that support the legality of the proposal.
The acceptance of the documentation submitted by Hidrogea and confirming the adopted agreement has also been incorporated into the file.
As already explained at the time the mayor, the drop will be about 8.29 euros on the receipt of an average family, consisting of four members and with a consumption of 24 cubic meters, which is almost a 15 percent drop in the part of the receipt that concerns the consumption of water.
The Local Government Board has also approved the modification of the 2018 budget, extended in 2017, to carry out other studies and technical work on the implementation of electronic administration in the City of Cartagena.
Specifically, about 60,500 euros are set aside for the migration of web environments.
