This Saturday February 24 arrives at the Teatro Circo Apolo in El Algar the work Open Couple, the recently deceased Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo and his wife, Franca Rame, premiered in 1983. It poses in a satire tone a critique of double standards that exists around sex and marriage.
Open Couple recounts the life of a "progressive" couple who think they are very liberal and open, but the only one who enjoys that freedom is man.
It shows the machismo that is enclosed sometimes even in the most liberal and progressive couples.
It is a work full of comic gags and delirious situations, which help soften the work but does not stop showing a reality.
The performance, which will take place at 9.30 pm, is the responsibility of Producciones Alberto Alfaro, formerly Bavayaba and Lulo Producciones, which was born in 2008. Since then, he has produced the works Let's talk about short pants, Fly, the bird man, Juanito , stories of the sun and the moon, A small world, Fly, the bird man, Chiquilladas, A stand-up comedy, Those things of wanting and Dinner for two.
