CTSSP has harshly criticized the municipal government after learning that the CARM has rejected the transitory urban planning document to develop its own, reducing the original draft by more than half, adapting it to the current legislation and making room for the numerous allegations presented, among which are the one of this political formation.

According to the purple formation, the foreseeable decision of the CARM confirms for the umpteenth time the loss of time and resources, or what is the same, the endless botched work orchestrated by the Government, that to give answer to builders and entrepreneurs, has not found better formula that skip the legality in a systematic way: first with the General Plan of the PP, then with the express review, then resorting to the different annulment sentences, and now getting out of the sleeve some transitory rules that have finally been rejected by the CARM.

Pilar Marcos, a spokesperson for PODEMOS in the City Council, has urgently asked for political responsibilities after the continuing disaster of these two and a half years: "All this nonsense, endorsed by the rest of the political formations in the municipal Plenary, is responsible with name and last name, it has economic costs that all Cartagena pay, and above all it has the same protagonists: those who designed the Plan with the PP are the same ones who tried to sneak it through the window after its cancellation, those who then resorted unsuccessfully to the sentences and finally the transitory norms rejected by the CARM were invented, transitory norms that had nothing and that supposed to approve the old Plan in a masked manner ".

The municipal group, regardless of technically assessing the new document, advances its opposition to the procedure and reaffirms the need to strictly comply with the legislation: insists on preparing a new General Plan from the beginning, in a democratic and participatory manner, that protects the environment and put urbanism at the service of the people and not a few privileged pockets.
