The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, held on Thursday, February 15, the Honor Roll of the eighth edition of the Municipal Petanque Championship for Older People.

The event was held in the petanque field of San Ginés (next to the UNED)

The event is organized by the Federation of Associations and Centers for Older Persons, with the collaboration of the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena.

The championship will begin on Monday, February 19, and end the first half of May.

In the championship, nine petanque teams participate, belonging to the following Major clubs: Alumbres, Vista Alegre, Barrio de la Concepción, Molinos Marfagones, Barrio Peral, San Ginés, and as a guest team The Union of IMAS.
