The regional chief executive, Fernando López Miras, met today in Cartagena with the president of the Association 'Cartagena Avanza', Tomás Martínez Pagán, and members of its board of directors to know the projects of this association created in 2017 with the objective of promote the economic, social and cultural development of the city of Cartagena and its region.
At the end of this meeting, the spokesman of the Government of Murcia, Noelia Arroyo, stressed that "Cartagena is a priority for the regional government" and referred to the "healthy claim" that makes the Cartagena society through associations such as Cartagena Avanza, "proposing, in addition, solutions or suggestions about how to move forward in the right direction".
In this regard, he transferred the support of the president to all those groups that contribute to the growth and development of the port city and, in this specific case, the support of the regional government for initiatives such as papers, workshops or round tables that it plans to undertake. association and where "the name of Cartagena is heard, not only in the Region but at the national level".
