The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, received this morning at 12:30 in the Consistorial Palace the "Cura Obrero" of Vistalegre, Antonio Bermejo, who has been proposed by the full City Council to receive the Gold Medal of Cartagena for "its great demand and humanitarian work", developed throughout its "intense and fertile existence".

The mayor has personally shown her affection and admiration, for her defense of the weakest and the least able, allowing all of them access to welfare and culture.
The file that was opened for the award of the medal will be submitted in the coming days to public information so that individuals, entities and institutions that wish to join and express their appreciation to the figure of Antonio Bermejo.
