A passenger car and a minivan collided yesterday Wednesday February 14 in a traffic accident on the N-301 (Miranda-El Albujón).
The accident occurred around half past six in the afternoon and required the intervention of firefighters of the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service of the City of Cartagena (SEIS).
A crew composed of two trucks, a corporal, two drivers and five firemen, as well as a doctor from the Military Emergency Unit (UME), moved to the site.
After the supervision of the doctor, two of the occupants of the minivan were able to leave on their own feet, while the other two, due to their injuries, were immobilized and removed from the vehicle with a rescue table to avoid aggravating possible physical injuries.
Once all the occupants had been rescued, the HEU's health workers and technicians provided them with the necessary medical attention and transferred the wounded to the hospital for further recognition.
